Princelings Revolution Launch Tour – starts today

The Princelings Revolution Launch Blog Tour starts today with the cover reveal on my blog.

I’ve had to be careful about not showing the cover publicly until now, because I didn’t want to spoil the surprise. I expect people have got used to the ‘holding’ cover which Dani did for me last October, soon after finishing the Chronicles one. I’ve had the general idea for some time, even before finishing the book, but Dani gave it wings! Literally, as it happened!

I love the way she wrecked the castle, although I had to get her to go further and rip off the banners flying from the turrets! I copied her changes to make the last picture of the castle for the chapter illustrations.

But now we’re all ready to launch. The ebook is loaded on most of the websites, and I hope the paperback gets onto the online store files before the launch too.

The Blog Tour

I’m very grateful for everyone who responded to my call for bloggers and tweeters and any other way they would like to get involved with the launch. Officially the tour lasts for the duration of the Giveaway: 15th September to 23rd October. The generic link is to this blog, and the banner on the front page here links to this post. So anyone wanting more information can check out the tour stops here, and enter the Giveaway here as well if they wish.

This is the current schedule (may be updated).

and one to look out for on November 18th, a party with Patricia Josephine on both our blogs!

The Giveaway

If you meant to enter the giveaway or lost track of it, you can enter or catch up with it here. Entries close 11.59pm New York time on 23rd October 2020.

Blog Tour 2015 week two

I hope you’ve already visited the wonderful authors and bloggers who hosted me last week.

This week we have a host of visits to do, starting today with:

  • Mason Canyon at Thoughts in Progress (what a great blog title) who is interviewing me, and asking a lot of questions about the characters, and I reveal the relationship of Fred and George to other famous twins, among other things.
  • Rebecca Douglass, the Ninja Librarian, delves further into the characters and also the Realms, and the socio-technological changes that George’s inventions promote.  If you’re a Princelings fan (and why else would you be reading this?) you will either want the sneaky clues I give for the future of the books, or you’ll want to avoid it for fear of spoilers!
  • I’m also visiting Kim Headlee today, who includes a review of Princelings of the East in the Maze of Twisty Passages.

On Wednesday there are another three friends who are hosting me: Renee at Mother Daughter Book Reviews is doing an excerpt.  I know she’s already featured the first three books, so I don’t know what she’ll choose this week.  Cheryl Carpinello was one of the first author interviews I did, and it will be nice to visit her again, with another excerpt.  And Steve Lothian is squeezing me into his very busy schedule with a review of Mariusz’s (or Hugo’s) adventures in the Traveler in Black and White.

Thursday, 1st October sees me visit Theresa at Addicted to Reading, and Raychel at United Indie Book blog both for excerpts, and on Friday we go to see Paul Hewlett at Sher A Hart for another excerpt.

Saturday is another busy day, with an excerpt with the wonderful Noelle Granger at Sayling Away, another at Stephanie Lashbrooks Ramblings from SEKS blog, and visit with my friend and co-minion Mary Wallace, who is reviewing three books at her blog Homeless Chronicles in Tampa.

Then on Sunday I have a visit to Charline Ratcliff for an interview.  Charline did a huge amount of research before her interview – the questions are very impressive, and I hope I’ve done them justice.  They are quite revealing, I think!  She also has some pictures of the real Fred, George, Victor and Hugo to feature.

There’s only one more day, but it’s a biggie, so I’ll do that next week!  Don’t forget to enter the Giveaways on these blogs!

Our Blog Tour Starts Today

My blog tour featuring the new paperbacks of the Princelings series starts today with four blog visits:

On Wednesday we move on to Padme’s Library and Fire & Ice Book Tours, both of whom are doing interviews. Heather at Padme’s Library asks me about my favourite part of the creative process, and then gets me to say who I’d like to co-author with, which I found very difficult to answer!   Shelly at Fire & Ice got me to admit to my favourite books and movies, and also squeezed out of me how I get inspiration.

Thursday’s two visits start with What Shall We Blog About Today – that’s not a question, it’s the blog title – where Kristy is doing an excerpt – in addition to the giveaway, of course.  I’m also visiting BookSkater where Arnie is doing another excerpt.

Author Sandy Smith is hosting me on Friday or Saturday with a fantastic new interview with Princeling George – or Prince Engineer George as he is now.  Tonya (my wonderful tour host) is featuring me in two places, one on Friday, and on her blog on Saturday.

Don’t forget to visit all of these wonderful people and enter the Giveaway for some great Princelings of the East prizes as well as a gift card.

Come back next Monday to see where we are going then – it’s a busy day, I can tell you!
