Final draft cover of Traveler

Just thought you might like a sneak preview of the cover for The Traveler in Black and White.

This is Hugo, Lord Mariusz of Hattan’s own story narrated in his individual style.  The cover picture incorporates a pastel portrait of Mariusz by Dawn Cavalieri, which in turn was based on a photo by Wayne Chang.  Mariusz was Dawn’s guinea pig, and Hugo was mine, and they were so similar in looks and personality that we joked they were the same guinea pig.  I say joked, but sometimes we wondered whether they had some magical relocation powers.  I always imagine Hugo as a Humphrey Bogart character; the Dashiel Hamnmett, film noir sort of style suits him.

Thank you once again, Danielle English, for this awesome cover.  You can find more of Danielle’s work at www.kanizo.co.uk
