Paperbacks now available from Waterstones online (UK)

8 covers

The Princelings series in paperback is now listed for sale at Waterstones Online in the UK.  I’m very pleased to see that Blurb’s distribution facility via Ingram has slid them into the Waterstones catalogue.  It will make it a lot easier for anyone wishing to purchase them instore, since the Waterstones sales staff (who are generally excellent in their knowledge and helpfulness) will find them more easily on their system!

I wonder if there will ever be enough demand for Waterstones to actually stock them on their shelves?

You can find them here (prices as listed at Feb 19):

Look what I’ve got!

Jemima with new paperbacks

I don’t think it’s the most flattering picture of me I’ve ever seen, but it was fun trying to juggle all six Princelings paperbacks!

I’m just trying to work out pricing for them.  Lost City is the most expensive to produce (it’s the longest), and the best retail price I can put on it would be £6.36.  That should come out at around $9.50, which I think is okay, and would work for the later books, too.  The first and second books will be slightly cheaper, £5.25 for The Princelings of the East (around $8).  The Princelings and the Pirates would then come in at £5.46, or $8.20.  I could put Traveler at just under £6 or $9, or slightly less, which might be worthwhile as it’s another point for entering the series.  Decisions, decisions.

News update for July

I’m busy working on my other series this month as my project for Camp NaNoWriMo, but I will find time to set up the new paperback of The Traveler in Black and White, now that we have the final cover.  I’ve driven Danielle crazy, but that’s the problem of replacing a cover you really like.

The other books are all ready in paperback and I’ve just updated Pirates and Lost City to get rid of spurious printer marks (blocks replacing special characters in the wordprocessing file).

You may remember I entered Bravo Victor in the Kindle Book Awards… it didn’t get through to the semi-final.  I like it, though; it’s just not your prize-winning type of book.

Comments on the new Traveler cover welcome!
